Jill exudes horse knowledge and horse talent. She's involved in more volunteer horse activities than we can list. Suffice it to say that she's the horse guru in her region and has been the knowledge and motivation behind a number of notable young equestrian proteges.

We don't know why she volunteered to be Workshop Director as it seems contrary to her general good sense, but she tackled the often thankless and hectic job and we all appreciate it!

As you can see with the wild one, Saratoga, Jill holds her own in the gentling pens.







Motivating Wild Horses
One of the secrets to gentling and training a wild horse is to avoid triggering the horse's flight or fight response. Low resistance approaches and positive motivators have proved to be the most efficient and humane approaches to wild horse gentling.
