LRTC Wild Horse Mentors'
WILD HORSE WORKSHOP 2000
Part Seven

Rick and Kitty Laumann

Talking about technique
Kitty is John and Joyce Sharp's granddaughter and she obviously picked up a great deal of horse knowledge from her ancestors. Rick is similarly a skilled horseman. The Laumanns have often been called upon to resolve issues with abused, "complicated," or otherwise difficult horses. Some of their techniques are pretty advanced and controversial, however they consistently gentle and train horses that are dangerous or have been "failures" at other trainers, so it's hard to argue with success.
