The entire BLM staff was professional and very well prepared to assist in the workshop. Aside from managing all of the livestock, they put on a number of demonstrations and provided other information and services to participants and wild horse adopters.

(They also had some drop dead gorgeous and well trained horses!)

Wild Horse Competition
When held to appropriate numbers that the land can support, wild horses do not unreasonably compete with native species for food and water, and in some instances their presence is beneficial to the land, other animals and plant communities.
